    *Notes

= Bring a friend event (all our activities are open to everyone of course, but these events are particularly inviting for new youth)

Youth Sunday - The youth will be planning, organizing, and leading these select worship services. There are a number of different roles that will need to be filled as we plan, organize, and lead each Youth Sunday. Youth are encouraged to attend the planning meeting and/or rehearsal if they want to be involved, but it’s still possible to help even if they can’t.

Lock-In - Have you ever stayed all night at the church? Now’s your chance. Some sweet activities (laser tag, ropes course, arcade, bumper cars) at Go N’ Bananas, games back at the church, live worship music and a lesson in the morning, and a delicious breakfast. In the spirit of Lent, we're making this a 20-hour fast event as well--students are encouraged to make lunch on Friday their last meal. We break the fast Saturday morning at 10am. There will be plenty of water and juices available throughout the night. We begin 4:30pm Friday and end Saturday at 10:30am. If you can only make it for a portion of the event, we'd still love to have you!

Night of Praise – Our church is hosting a night of praise and worship music to Celebrate lives touched by God through the ministry of Raising Hope, Inc. in Ukraine! There will be music by the First UMC Praise Band plus special guest, Woody Wolfe Jr. of Heart to Hand Ministries as a concert to benefit the 2017 Summer Mission of Love to Ukraine.

Winter Jam - The biggest contemporary Christian music tour is coming to Penn State…nd it’s only $10! Check out Andy Mineo, 10th Avenue North, Britt Nicole, and Crowder. We’ll leave from the church at 3:30pm and arrive back around 1 am.

Bears Game Faith/Family Night - Join us with your family for $14.50/ticket in Section 203 as we Defend the Den! If a student is going without his/her family, arrangements can be made for a ride over. Otherwise we’ll be meeting at the Giant Center. Contact Cassie/Stephen to reserve your tickets by March 5th. Payment can be made to First UMC Hershey and given to the church office or Cassie/Stephen.

Spring Clean-Up Service Project - This will be our 2nd annual Spring Clean-Up day where we go to various congregants’ homes and do yard/house work that they not be able to do themselves. We’re hoping to make this a church-wide service day if we can find enough homes in need. The event will begin at 1:30pm and will conclude with dinner at 5pm back at the church.

Zeteo Reprise - Remember that heart-pounding drama filled with hilarious lines, fun music, suspenseful plot twists, and Jesus moments we saw back in January?! Well maybe you don’t remember that at all because you weren’t able to go. Either way, now is your chance to see an encore performance of "Storymakers" the full-length drama from ZETEO 2016!! We’ll be taking a short trip together to Camp Hill UMC to see the production. Invite your friends and family to come along and don’t miss out!

End of Year Picnic - A celebration for the end of the school year with Children's and Youth Ministry families @ Shank Park. There will be grilling, gaming, good-eating, and hopefully beautiful weather starting at 4:30pm. Here is the breakdown for what we are asking families to bring to the picnic to supplement the meal:

    A-L: Desserts M-Z: Sides

SNL - For the following Sunday Night Life gatherings, we’ll have a meal prepared by one of the families from the church at 5:30pm: 2/12, 3/19, 4/9, 5/7, 5/28.
