Winter Sermon Series – The Glory of God in the Face of Jesus
In this Epiphany sermon series, the pastors will be unpacking glimpses of God’s glory in the life and ministry of Jesus and their implications for our daily work, love, and faith walk. The theme text is Second Corinthians 4:6. “For it is the God who said, ‘Light will shine out of darkness’, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” We look forward to your participation in person or online.
Ash Wednesday Service: God and our Self-Talk
Lent is the season of reflection, a time for seekers and believers to go deeper. Beginning Ash Wednesday through Good Friday, we will overhear some of the telling self-talkers in the Bible from the prodigal son of Luke 15 to the atheist of Psalm 14, from the 100-year-old patriarch of Genesis 17 to the parade goer of Luke 19. Our self-talk is a measure of our spiritual health and maturity. It is a window into our souls.
